ADAMS LAKE — After increased fire activity was reported yesterday on the Lower East Adams Lake wildfire, B.C. Wildfire Service (BCWS) said it did not affect the residences under Evacuation Alert.
According to the Columbia Shuswap Regional District (CSRD), the fire on the southeast flank – the closest to the populated area – was held by actions of the K-Max helicopter and the fire will continue to be managed by aerial resources.
The BCWS Incident Management Team is working with Interfor to complete building guards on the northwest to northeast flanks.
