419 Moose Squadron flyby to coincide with Memorial Cup ceremony Thursday

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops will have a special visitor make a quick and noisy arrival Thursday afternoon (May 25).

The Canadian Armed Forces have confirmed two CT-155 Hawk aircraft from the 419 Tactical Fighter Training (Moose) Squadron will make a flyby Thursday at about 4:30 p.m.

The east-to-west pass will coincide with the opening ceremonies for the Memorial Cup at the Tk’emlups Powwow Grounds.

Kamloops has a long-standing relationship with the Moose Squadron, having received the City of Kamloops’ Freedom of the City in 1993.
